JUKIN’ BONE
(The Lost Third Album, 1973) $15 (CD-R)
So many of you have requested this title, but this period
brings up so much emotion for us that we’ve resisted.
But here it is: all of the demos made for what was to be
the 3rd RCA album. Tom (first drummer) and George (rhythm
guitar player) had left, but we soldiered on with two drummers
and John on bass. In spite of the bad memories, when we
listened to the 14 songs we realized that not only were
they historically important for the whole story, but they
rocked. And it even features The Dean Brothers on 3 cuts
(now THAT was a bizarre idea.) Special bonus – the
3 farewell radio ads for our last show.

Mark Doyle & The
Maniacs
(Comin' Home, 2010) $15 $12 |

FREE WILL
(Live at East High 1969)
$15 (CD-R)
Recorded live on reel-to-reel in 1969, this disc captures
the teen-age band in transition, still heavily under the
influence of Ronnie Dio, Brian’s Idols and other Cortland
bands of the era. Joe, Mark, Tom & John, with Bill Irvin
still on rhythm guitar. No original material here. You’ll
hear the band performing their favorite cover songs, sometimes
in unique arrangements. I’m Tired, Come Together,
Little Help From My Friends, Commotion, I Believe To My
Soul, Heart Full o’ Soul, Oh! Darlin, and the 22-minute
Spirit Medley, featuring an unbelievable Tom Glaister drum
solo. Although this is the original master tape, there is
distortion because our Kustom PA was distorted, trying to
compete with the Vox Royal Guardsmen amplifiers in full
flight. But if you’re a fan of the band, this is a
real find! Jewel box, 57 minutes.

MARK DOYLE
(In Dreams: Guitar Noir II)
$15 (PRO CD-R)
This long-awaited follow-up
to 1999's critically acclaimed "Guitar Noir" album
takes the listener on an all-instrumental voyage through
the stages of sleep and dreaming. Beginning with the waiting
-for- sleep opening salvo of "Mister Sandman",
with its White Album-era arrangement juxtaposed with four-part
harmony guitars a la The Andrews Sisters, the album just
gets more inventive as it proceeds on its journey. From
the sweet harmony guitars and Rundgren-esque arrangement
of "All I Have To Do Is Dream", through a gorgeous
reading of Ray Davies' "I Go To Sleep", through
several Doyle originals and even Artie Shaw's old theme
song, "Nightmare" this adventurous album has it
all. Jewel box, booklet, shrink-wrapped, retail-ready. 46
minutes.

MARK DOYLE and THE MANIACS
(Pushin’)

After two albums that paid homage to the British Blues Boom of the Sixties, and specifically Doyle's heroes Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Peter Green and Kim Simmonds, the release of "Pushin'" shows The Maniacs standing on their own feet with a bluesy, rockin' and (dare we say it) mature release of mostly original music. Included along with the six brand new Doyle originals is a stunning version of Jukin' Bone's "Nightcrawler", a turbo-charged version of Freddie King's "Palace of the King" and a final tip of the hat to British Blues godfather John Mayall with "I'm Your Witchdoctor."
Jewel box, booklet, shrink-wrapped, retail-ready. 44 minutes.
