and numerous others.
8) JUKIN’ BONE (The Lost Third Album, 1973) $15
So many of you have requested this title, but this period brings up so much
emotion for us that we’ve resisted. But here it is: all of the demos
made for what was to be the 3rd RCA album. Tom (first drummer) and George
(rhythm guitar player) had left, but we soldiered on with two drummers and
John on bass. In spite of the bad memories, when we listened to the 14 songs
we realized that not only were they historically important for the whole story,
but they rocked. And it even features The Dean Brothers on 3 cuts (now THAT
was a bizarre idea.) Special bonus – the 3 farewell radio ads for our
last show.
Jewel box, 58 minutes
